![]() Elaine had a green thumb and loved tending her many flowers and plants. Elaine and Duane traveled together over the years which included trips to England, Australia, and Africa. Always seeking to help others she volunteered for over 31 years in Hospice and spent time volunteering with Meals on Wheels. She volunteered often to help with weddings, funerals, and other events while also participating in Circle, Ladies Aid, and Bible Studies. In her church community she was active and generous. She then worked in a dental office in Willmar, MN until she married the love of her life, Duane, on December 22,1956.Įlaine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. ![]() After graduating from Belgrade High School she attended Luther College in Decorah,Iowa for one year. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Forseth (Pulczinski), sons Scott Forseth of Bemidji, Jeff (Corrina) Forseth of Bemidji, Grandchildren, Arietta, Mila and Clayton, Sister Cheryl (Dennis) Berglund of Bemidji, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and so many wonderful friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Howard, and Neva Forseth. He died peacefully in his home from heart failure, April 10, 2022. Randy found great joy in a job well done and spending time with friends and family, hunting, snowmobiling, watching his grandchildren at play and rides with Mary and the dogs in the Ranger. The made a home in Bemidji where they raised their two sons, Scott Forseth and Jeffrey Forseth. His generous heart was as big as he was, and he touched many people with his gruff style of kindness. Randy was known as a “cool head in time of crisis” and volunteered for 20 years as a founding member of the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse from 1994 – 2014. His business took him east to Kentucky and northeast to Nova Scotia, but today mainly services factories in the tri-state area as well as the pipeline and railroad. The business then evolved into Beltrami Industrial Service as the company expanded into large equipment emergency recovery work as well as industrial repair and contracting. With 5 years of 20-hour days, Randy’s Paint and Body in Solway MN, grew to include light and heavy towing and recovery. He worked road construction to pay for college and upon finishing his pre-law courses he chose to open his own business in 1978. Randy graduated from Bemidji High School in 1975 and pursued a law degree. ![]() He often stated, “The harder I work, the luckier I get!” Randy moved with his parents to Bemidji MN in 1969 where he transitioned from an elementary school of 1500 students to Ergen School, which had one room, one teacher and 15 students in grades 1-6. In his book, there was nothing that hard work could not fix. Randy grew up to have an unparalleled work ethic. From his father he inherited the understanding of all things mechanical. He spent his early years traveling many states as his father worked on the turnpikes and road infrastructure out east. Randy Howard Forseth was born in Canton, Ohio, January 12, 1957, to Howard and Neva Forseth. ![]()
